Zodiac 2 post-nuclear music 1996
A group of former Soviets plays at the benefit event against nuclear power and for the victims of Tchernobyl in Oosterpark in Amsterdam (27.04.1996). They named themselves Zodiac 2 after Soviet synth disco band Zodiac, popular in the 1980s. Zodiac 2 created post-nuclear music as they called it. The short lived band became a breeding ground for Sputnik, the concept band which played Favourite Songs of the Soviet Cosmonauts. Many members of the then very small post-Soviet community of Amsterdam appear in this video.
