Chord Generator by Mario Nieto (developer of the excellent Harmony Bloom app) is an excellent midi chord generator app for desktop and iPad. This video is a walkthrough of the main features. Of special interest is the “Repeater” function, which is also probably the most interesting difference between this and Chordjam.
