Portland startup accelerator applications now open - PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment)
Applications for PIE the Portland, Oregon, startup accelerator program are now open. Please note, these are only applications for PIE, the startup accelerator program focused on software, SaaS, and mobile solutions. We will recruit for PIE Consumer and PIE Shop at a later time.
It is important to note that the grant funding this cohort is designed to focus the program on startups located in Portland, Oregon, who have at least one BIPOC founder. So you must be a solo BIPOC founder or have a BIPOC cofounder on your team in order to be accepted.
If that sounds like your startup, you have two ways to apply: 1) Provide a link to a pitch deck or one-pager; or 2) Complete a written application.
No tricks here. This isn't a test. One option is not seen as better than the other from our perspective. So there's no need to stress if one of those options is more appealing to you and your team. Either option carries the same weight with the review committee.
Why two options then? We simply want to provide founders with choices for sharing information about their startups with us. And if you've answered the spirit of the written application questions in materials that already exist, it seems silly to force you to translate that information into a different format.
