Parrot OS 6.1 Home with Mate Desktop Performance Benchmark Tier List
It appears that Parrot OS 6.1 from June 2024 running the Mate Desktop Environment is bundled with years old software. The performance also appears to be poor using 3 times more times Memory with Mate than NixOS with Mate. Unfortunately Mate was not up to date on Alpine Linux at time of testing.
