I Spent a Winter In Project Zomboid's Most Haunted Hotel
This was supposed to be a chill solo survival challenge in Project Zomboid.
What I got instead was a descent into total madness.
Inspired By The Shining, I moved into an abandoned hotel up in the mountains with absolutely no clue what I was getting into. What followed was one of the coldest, weirdest, most paranoid runs I’ve ever had in this game.
With the Cryogenic Winter mod freezing me out and the Schizophrenia Mod messing with my mind, reality started breaking down fast. Whispers in the walls, ghost sightings (maybe?), hallucinations, and… yeah, at one point I was talking to a chair for like 12 in-game hours.
This isn’t just a survival story... it’s a psychological collapse in slow motion.
