Unpacking Insights: Energy-saving with TUBTRAX ICS
At Vanderlande we're committed to minimising energy consumption in our baggage handling systems. TUBTRAX, our Individual Carrier System (ICS), transports bags with reduced friction and has a start-stop function that ensures inactive sections automatically stop to save energy.
It also uses our lightweight tub design to positively impact the overall energy consumption. As a result of these advancements, our TUBTRAX ICS provides a minimised energy consumption compared to traditional belt conveyors.
