fishing with the black crowned night heron
While on Kauai, my grand daughter fell in love with this bird. He hung out in the same area at the hotel. Every time we would pass by that area she would look for him. On our last day at the Sheraton Kauai Resort she decided to feed it. Well little did we know, the Black Crowned Night Heron would use the bread that she was trying to feed it, as bait. To our surprise, she helped him catch two fish!
