Introduction to the Union Project: Layout Planning & Design for a VIA Rail, Go Transit Layout.
I'm pleased to present the design for my new N-scale railroad project – Union. The Union project is an N Scale passenger layout based on the trains of VIA Rail Canada and GO Transit. The track plan is inspired by Toronto's Union Station and the adjacent Bathurst Yard. In this video, I offer a brief history of VIA Rail Canada and GO Transit, introduce my new 5.5m x 0.8m track plan, and describe the geographic landmarks that inspired my design.
