Swimming Is My Catharsis (Mac Miller)
Both Mac Miller's sudden death and final album really hits home for me, especially now. Mac ended up being just as old as I am, which both makes his death even more tragic and surreal to me.
By the time I finished putting together this video, I realized I accidentally had the video's visual style inspired by Swimming's album cover. It always looked really simple to me but also to focus the viewer's attention so I wanted my video to end up doing the same by centering the visual subjects and topics. Also, yes, that dog pictured is my dog.
