Echelon (Шторм) on Steam - an incredibly dull space shooter
I couldn't find any footage of Echelon in the wild, so I thought I would upload this for historical interest. Fair warning: absolutely nothing happens for 30 minutes.
Here are six reasons not to bother with this game:
1. You need to manually edit a batch file to get it to launch.
2. The default controls are inscrutable and unguessable.
3. The first tutorial instructs you to push autopilot before landing, turning it off and leading to your untimely demise.
4. The second tutorial is a difficulty spike.
5. There is nothing at all engaging about any aspect of the game.
6. Freespace 2 and Wing Commander exist.
