FFXI Nasomi -- Zipacna Solo (NIN/RDM)
Since LS is starting to do more Sky lately, I've been having fun trying to get whatever pop items I can solo on NIN. It's pretty competitive up there these days, so finding NM's up and about is a bit hit or miss. Managed to catch Zippy wandering around and took a shot at him.
Not too much harder than the standard Aura Statues up there, just a longer fight since he's got a decent HP pool, and hits a bit harder and faster. Can get away without the Bat Earrings on this one, but they do allow for enough evasion to disengage and rest a few tics if needed. Had a handful of Yag Drinks and Persikos on me at the time, so I made use of them.
Just keep Stoneskin up and chip away at his HP, making sure to stop feeding him TP whenever you need time to recover from one of his AoE moves.
