It release day for Nvidia's cloud gaming platform, GeForce NOW. It's similar to Google's Stadia, but allows you to play selected games from your existing collection of Steam, Epic, and other stores, on lower spec hardware which would struggle to run high-end titles.

In a lot of ways it reminds me of Steam Link, but the PC it's rendering on isn't in your own house ;)

In my tests I've been using a Lenovo IdeaPad 510, both on a wired and wireless connection. It worked with an Xbox 360 controller without any issues.. just connect and go! It would be nice if the authentication with the stores was more seamless.. having to log in each time & run through 2FA is a hassle.

I take a look at both Fortnite and Lego Harry Potter, which perform pretty well. You can tell it's running remotely, but it's certainly playable, and considering it's free for 1 hour of play, that makes it really accessible to test out & decide whether it's worth $5 a month for the premium service (which gives you 6 hrs of playtime a day).
