Anodizing castings from aluminum cans
Decided to try a test of a low-silicon aluminum alloy, namely cans. The results were most interesting. Two casting and two pours in this one.

I get asked about the moisture content of my sand. I have settled on a ratio of about 2 liters of sand and 36-42ish ml of water for my ratio. I start with sand that is dry.
