Decay - Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Raw Test
This here is my first ever go at shooting raw video internally on my BMPCC, as the workflow put me off, I never shot raw until two days ago, and ProRes was always my go to capture codec.
I was very impressed with the raw video that the camera shot, although it does present a bit more moire than what it does when using ProRes, but aside from that, you can certainly see more sharpness and a bit more dynamic range with the raw.
I also used this opportunity to try out my motorised slider for a change as opposed to my manual one, and I was very impressed with the slides, some look slightly jagged due to the terrain I was shooting in but other than that, everything was smooth.
