Osmo Action Extreme Lowlight Performance at Night | Cinematic
Filming at night is always a concern. Especially with a smaller Camera like an Action Cam. The sensor is small, the loss of quality is always a thing. You never know exactly how high you can go with the ISO, Shutterspeed and all the settings. I deliberately shot a video at night with the DJI Osmo Action in London and in Frankfurt. Two big Citys, two different Lighting conditions. London vs Frankfurt. Check this video out, this camera is a small beast if you know how to use it rightly.
Tips:
1.) After your final grading, set the saturation down a bit to get the slight cinematic and murky Gotham city look.
2.) Put your fading a bit high to minimize the noise.
Edited and graded in Premiere Pro. Filmed in FullHD 1080p, 60fps.
This is not the 4K Footage of Osmo Action. This is the FullHD footage which I've upscaled in the post later on.
