"Love Letter" is a freeform miniature set to an original text by the composer:
"O hold my life, that I should wander
no more apart from thee.
Within a shelter stronger than the earth;
one of heart and home.
O what a home, that I should linger
in rooms alight with love.
And what a heart, my soul's desiring:
To lose myself in thee!"
