Halo 5: Guardians is a first-person shooter video game developed by 343 Industries and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One. Part of the Halo franchise, the game was released on October 27, 2015.
Eight months after the destruction of the shield world Requiem, the UNSC deploy Fireteam Osiris, an elite team of Spartan-IV's which consists of ONI Agent and squad leader Jameson Locke, Army Engineer Holly Tanaka, Navy Translator and Pilot Olympia Vale, and the veteran ODST trooper Edward Buck to the Covenant controlled planet Kamchatka to extract the rogue Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, who wishes to defect back to the UNSC.
