Join us in this animated video as we delve into the concept of NAT (Network Address Translation) in computer networking. In home or office LAN setups, devices are assigned private IP addresses for internal communication, while public IP addresses are used for internet communication. However, accessing internet resources from devices with private IP addresses poses a challenge. NAT comes to the rescue! NAT allows multiple devices within a LAN to share a single public IP address for internet communication, efficiently conserving public IP addresses.

In our scenario, we explore how NAT works in a LAN setup with two computers and a router. When a computer with a private IP address wants to access a website, NAT steps in, replacing the private IP address with the router's public IP address. This process ensures seamless communication with internet resources while maintaining security by hiding internal IP addresses.

If you're curious about how NAT facilitates internet communication within LANs and want to learn more about its significance in networking, this video is for you!
