Transcript: This is a demonstration of RF-SMART for Oracle Cloud in this demonstration I will show you how to receive a purchase order using RF-SMART. RF-SMART supports all three receipt routing options the Oracle Cloud offers the first is direct delivery with this option the inventory is put away into a sub inventory or locator at the time of receipt the second is inspection required this requires inspection of the inventory before it's available in your sub inventories the third is standard receipt this is a two-part receipt requiring a put away function after receiving for this demonstration we have a purchase order with two lines one with the receipt routing of direct delivery and the other with a standard receipt to the left you'll see a purchase order that's been created in Oracle cloud to the right is an RF-SMART scanning device which uses the receiving menu option the first screen we see is asking for the org code this value can be scanned or entered or you can default this value using RF-SMART configurations the next screen is asking for the order number we want to receive once the order number is injured we're required to tell it which item from that order we want to receive if we know the item number we can scan or enter it if not we can access a list of the item numbers on this particular purchase order on the list screen we have the ability to select the purchase order line we want to begin receiving or we can go back to the previous screen to manually enter the item number once an auto number is scanned or entered our smart performs real-time validations to ensure that the inputted value matches an item number that's on the order the next step is to enter the quantity we want to receive followed by the unit of measure the item we just received had a receipt routing of standard receipt so we weren't asked for a sub inventory or locator to put the inventory away in at this point we have the ability to print a label that can be applied to the new inventory this functionality you could print a barcode label making future transactions that this item easier workflow now loops back to allow the user to receive what's left on the order now let's receive the second item that has a receipt routing of direct delivery after we collect the item in quantity RF-SMART will ask for the sub inventory we want to receive the Ottoman - if locators are turned on it will also ask for the locator now that we've received all lines on the purchase order let's take a look at the status of the receipt and Oracle you can see that both items have been received and that the item that was set for direct delivery has been put away into the storage sub inventory this has been a demonstration of RF-SMART for Oracle Cloud
