Russell/Talbot (True Blood): Moan
Russell Edgington’s only redeeming quality was his love for Talbot. A bond of 700 years and a marriage in crisis. No better way for Eric to get revenge. And then Sookie, too.
Russell’s epic meltdown was the highlight of a third season full of highlights. After that my interest in True Blood slowly waned because they couldn’t maintain that quality. Denis O’Hare was amazing! So was Theo Alexander. That moment Russell sensed Talbot’s true death… it hit me. They’ll always have a special place in my heart because I was sad. So sad these two evil vamps got what they deserved. Oh, the tragedy! Still wish we had a Russell and Talbot backstory.
