Luminary Spotlight w/Kaba Hiawatha Kamene
Just a little background...
One of my main reasons for starting the podcasts Illuminations Healthy Food for the Mind Body and Soul and SouLutions Radio back in 2008, was to interview researchers/scholars on the history of indigenous peoples all across the world, before colonization by the various nations of Europe per. the edict of Rome in 1493.
As a spiritually inclined person, I've always understood that before the colonizers came, and brought their understanding of God, there was something already in existence. Apparently these indigenous practices worked for the people because they sustained thriving civilizations for thousands of years prior to their colonization. What speaks volumes to indigenous wisdom is that, most became fragmented, and declined immediately after their colonization.
So of course, I was, and still am curious about indigenous people, especially my aboriginal American/African ancestors…what worked so well for these people for thousands of years, and what was their true origin?
