Ride to Taplejung ( Pathivara Mandir ) - Episode 1
The first episode of the Travel Series is about four friends who decided to visit Pathivara Mandir in Taplajung on the spur of the moment. We started our journey from Itahari at 8:00 a.m. because it had been raining all day, making our ride a little difficult. During our ride, we witnessed rain, fog, sunset, heavy clouds, strong winds, a storm, a rainbow, and even a landslide. Our plan was to arrive in Taplajung on Day 1, but due to a landslide near Gopetar, we had to abandon our journey and find a place to stay. We were all wet, tired, and hungry by 11:30 pm, and we were out of petrol, so we couldn't go back to the city area to find a hotel. Fortunately, an old man from his old house saw us and approached us, offering us a place to sleep after 30 minutes of conversation. In the middle of the night, his wife offered us wai wai soup. We are grateful to them for their kind gesture.
