The Mass Cultural Council Recover, Rebuild, and Renew series is designed to help cultural nonprofits plan a post-COVID operating environment for organizations and creative workers. In this session, we focus on understanding the goals of strategic planning and the strategic planning process, understand how planning can guide decision-making in times of change and uncertainty, and explore how strategic planning during the pandemic and the economic recession is both different and better than what we did prior to these dual crises. Additionally, representatives from the Fitchburg Art Museum and Old North Foundation share their experiences in conducting strategic planning during COVID-19.
