I had about 50 koi carp in my pond.

I caught them in early fall, but I couldn't catch three of them; they simply hid from us.
So these carp remained in the pond all winter. In March, one of them died, two survived, and the third one started to roll over, indicating it wouldn't survive until spring either.
Then I bought some live bloodworms and sprinkled a small amount into the pond. The carp ate them all and literally came alive!
While they had been lethargic and inactive before, they were now completely revived and even swam around the pond like arrows sometimes.
