Fights where Fedor Emelianenko simply destroyed his opponents
Fedor Emelianenko is a mixed martial artist who competed in the heavyweight division. He holds a Master of Sports in sambo and judo.
During his active career, he has amassed 39 wins (15 of which were knockouts) and six losses. Fedor has a younger brother, Alexander Emelianenko, who is also a mixed martial artist.
Fedor began his professional career under the management of the RINGS organization, where he had 11 fights. After leaving RINGS, Emelianenko transferred to Pride, the largest MMA organization at the time. There, he began his career with a victory over Semmy Schilt. He then fought for the Pride championship belt against Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, from whom Fedor won the belt. Fedor would subsequently fight Nogueira in two more fights, one of which would be ruled a no contest, while Emelianenko would record the second.
In 2004, Fedor Emelianenko defeated Mark Coleman, whom he caught with an armbar. He then fought Kevin Randleman, whom he won with a kimura, also known as a "shoulder lock."
The main event of 2005 in the world of MMA was the clash between two heavyweights: Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović and "The Last Emperor," as Fedor Emelianenko was known to Japanese fans. Fedor won by unanimous decision.
In 2006, he fought Mark Hunt, which Fedor won with his favorite kimura. The following year, he faced the giant Choi Hong-man, whom he caught with an armbar. Fedor later fought Brett Rogers, Jeffrey Monson, Pedro Rizza, and Chael Sonen. Fedor's most recent fight was in 2019 against Quinton Jackson, which Emelianenko won.
