Actors who can actually punish the offender
Hello friends! We're excited to introduce you to another episode about actors who practiced martial arts in real life. Boris Galkin, the star of the films "In the Zone of Special Attention" (1977) and "The Countermove" (1981), is one of them. As a youth, he trained in boxing, acrobatics, gymnastics, and freestyle wrestling. He won a silver medal in the Latvian SSR Sambo Championship.
The co-lead role in these two films was played by Mihai Volontir. Whether Volontir practiced martial arts in real life is unknown—at least, I couldn't find any information about it—but it is reported that the famous Soviet martial artist Tadeush Kasyanov stood in for him in the fight scenes.
The actor also gained immense fame for his role as Budulai in the film "Gypsy." The film was a huge success with audiences, and a sequel, "The Return of Budulai," was released in 1985. Now let's move on to Oleg Stefanko, an actor known to many for his roles in films such as "The Forester," "Children of Captain Grant," "Death Bay," and "Alias Albanian" (seasons 3 and 4), among others.
In his youth, he trained in kickboxing, and later jiu-jitsu. He currently continues to act in films and television series.
Oleg Fomin is known to audiences primarily for his roles in the films "My Name Is Arlekino" and "Fan 2." As for his martial arts training, Oleg holds a second-class boxing title. He currently maintains good physical fitness.
Another notable example is the iconic fight between "Mukha" and Sasha "Bely" in the TV series "Brigada," starring Sergey Aprelsky and Sergey Bezrukov. The fight was real, and both actors sustained some injuries. Sergey Aprelsky trained in acrobatics before filming the series, while Sergey Bezrukov had been boxing for a couple of years. Let's also remember Vasily Shlykov, a Soviet and Russian actor, screenwriter, and stuntman. He was a professional athlete and a USSR Master of Sports in boxing. He also practiced hand-to-hand combat and martial arts. He is known to audiences for his roles in the crime thriller "...Nicknamed 'The Beast'" and the film "Risk Without Contract." And the last actor-fighter we have today is Alexander Lykov, who has been practicing karate since childhood. He is best known for his role as "Casanova" in the TV series "Streets of Broken Lights." He currently continues to actively appear in films and TV series.
