Goos-Hänchen effect (shift) - 2.0 Planar waveguides - Optical Waveguides and Fibers
In this video I will show you what is a Goos-Hänchen effect in planar waveguides. It appears that the beam falling at the boundary of two media is slightly shifted in space during reflection. This lateral spacial shift is called a Goos-Hänchen shift.
