Queen Elizabeth II wore blue to four royal weddings in the 20th century. All four ended in divorce. If the Queen DIDN’T wear blue to celebrate your nuptials, safe to say you’d be breathing a sigh of relief. Coincidence? Or curse?

The iconic blue Norman Hartnell ensemble that started it all (at Princess Margaret's 1960 wedding) is going on display this April as part of the largest exhibition of Elizabeth II’s wardrobe ever staged.

‘Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style’ opens on April 10th as part of the Royal Collection Trust’s celebrations marking the late queen’s 100th birthday

Also from the Royal Collection Trust, and out TODAY in the UK, is a brand new book offering new research on (and an unprecedented look inside) Queen Elizabeth II’s fashion archive. QUEEN ELIZABETH II: FASHION AND STYLE publishes in the US on May 4th. (Thank you to the ‪@RoyalCollectionTrust‬ for providing me with a review copy!)

When it comes to a supposed style curse following the Queen’s royal wedding fashion choices, you can finally see the evidence for yourself.
