Why did the Jedi Order never question the clone army?

There's no question that the Jedi Order had many weaknesses. For example, in the prequels, they worked side by side with a Sith Lord without question and ignored many clear signs from both Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker. The clone army became an indispensable component in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, but why did neither Obi-Wan Kenobi nor the other members of the Jedi Council question their creation in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones?
