Public Prosecutor Selim Kara (Ali Atay) receives an unexpected phone call from mafia boss Selçuk Taşkın, whom he brought to justice eight years earlier. Selçuk Taşkın says he is ready to testify and bring down the entire criminal organization—but on one condition: his son, Akgün Gökalp Taşkın (Alperen Duymaz), must be personally protected by Selim Kara.
For Selim, taking responsibility for Akgün—who grew up dangerous, impulsive, and reckless because of his father's world—is a major risk. To make matters worse, his personal life is falling apart. His wife, Canan (Funda Eryiğit), who lives in Çeşme, İzmir with their children, has grown tired of Selim's workaholic lifestyle and has filed for divorce. In an effort to save his marriage while keeping Akgün under constant watch, Selim has no choice but to bring him to the judicial housing complex in Çeşme, where his family lives.
