Celia (1949) British crime b-movie, with Hy Hazell, Bruce Lester & John Bailey.
When Mr. and Mrs. Haldane decide to visit their Aunt Nora, they are met at the front door by Lester Martin, Nora's recently acquired, and much younger husband, who claims that Aunt Nora is unwell, and can't receive visitors.
Concerns for the well-being of Nora, and the stand-offish attitude of Martin, lead the Haldane's to hire Private Investigator Larry Peters, in the hope of easing their worries.
Having dealt with these sort of investigation's before, Peters knows, that by placing someone undercover into the household, is probably the best way to get results. The question is..., who would be suitable for the job? Enter Peters' sometimes girlfriend, and part-time model/actress Celia!
Always looking to earn a little extra money, and easily swayed by Peters' charm... how could she resist?
This is a pretty decent little mystery thriller, with a touch of comedy thrown into the mix.
