When was Genesis written, the first book of the Torah? To find out a date, we look at anachronisms we can find in Genesis. Although not mentioned in the video, my conclusion doesn't contradict Mosaic authorship. We will cover that in a future video.
There are many anachronisms that show us Genesis, in the form we have, was written after the conquest, after the Philistines settled in Canaan and during the united monarchy. Sounds shocking, doesn't it? In the next videos we will continue to look at other anachronisms from Exodus through Deuteronomy and argue for Essential Mosaic authorship.
