Edge/Hardcore Stage Care and Feeding
For anyone who uses the stage in the Edge/Hardcore room, here are instructions on how to care for the new setup
Instruments: Please note that no personal instruments should be left out on the stage. The bass guitar, drums and keyboard all belong to Victory so they can be left out, but they should be on their stands with cables wound up neatly. Cases and gig bags should be stored in the closet, out of sight.
Vocals: Please put your mic away on the stand and make sure the cable is neat.
Vocals/Instruments: Please take your earbuds with you or store them in a drawer - don't leave them on the stage. Wind up the earbud cable neatly. Also, please put away your sheet music - don't leave it on the stand
Notes for Tech Team: There are 2 inputs in the Lead position: One is an instrument cable for an EFX processor - the other is a DI box for an acoustic. Both of these inputs have been associated with the monitor mix channel that is labeled "Acoustic" on the monitor units (second knob from the top, on the left)
Basically, let's just use common sense. What we're trying to avoid is having a bunch of cables flopped down on the ground, sheet music strewn everywhere, empty water bottles and gum wrappers... Let's keep it clean and take good care of the equipment. If we leave the earbud cables hanging down, it's only a matter of time before one of them gets stepped on and the monitor gets yanked down and broken.
