How to make a traditional floral design using a pinholder / kenzan
Ingredients - low bowl, pinholder ( the bigger the better if more materials ) water, garden foliage mixed, two types of flowers - we used red roses as the main flower and pink tulips as the secondary flowers
We try and show a range of different designs and a range of mechanics for holding the flowers, so in todays video we lol, and see if a pinholder is suitable to make a classic design. There is a good amount of stems and materials so we did choose a good sized kenzan and one with a nice depth of pins as well.
The classic style tends to be symetrical and radial, and yes, this was achievable in the pinholder! We would suggest this was good for small to medium sized designs - for larger designs then I would maybe add chicken wire above to add hold.
