A Day In Village Life | Juranpur Kalibari
A day in village life well spent and a visit to Juranpur Sati Peeth.
We decided to spent a day at Matiari before going to Juranpur Kalibari. At Matiari we enjoyed local boat ride, fishing. Village life is absolutely amazing.
Juranpur Kalibari is among 52 Sati Peeth where according to Hindu mythology forehead of Maa Sati has fallen.
Maa is worshipped as Joy Durga under a banyan tree.
You can have a day return trip from Kolkata taking Duragpur Expressway till Joegram. Then take Manteshwar- Daihant state highway to Dainhat Ferry crossing. Crossover to Matiari and then to Juranpur.
