Today I'll be going through Braddock, PA on a 4k night drive. Braddock is a borough in the Pittsburgh area, and part of the industrial rust belt. Population is 1,656 as of 2024. It is severely in decline from a high of 20,879 from the 1920's. Theres a lot of abandoned homes and buildings as you would expect. However, I find the place unique and interesting. It has a strong sense of community vibe to it and potential. There's still industry working here, and trains coming in daily. The poverty level unfortunately is a soaringly high 37%, unemployment 11.4%, and median income of about 23,000. Crime rates are in fact low, and cost of living is cheaper than average. Let's take a look at it!
