In this video I demonstrate using my Juniper vEX switch how to disable clients from DHCPv6 clients from using SLAAC auto confiuration to automatically an IPv6 address from a configured router advertisement. The SLAAC process is a stateless method in IPv6 for client to obtain an IPv6 address on their own using the EUI-64 process as well as generate temporary IPv6 addresses.
