Learn something that you know you want to actually create. Don't try to learn Music Theory 101 hoping it results in music. Instead think of a piece of music that you really like, in which you love a chord, a solo, or any other element. Then go about figuring out that one thing. The common impression about Music Theory is that you have to learn it entirely in order for it to be useful. This is often not the case. Instead you could learn one thing, and that could spawn an entire album, project, or time period of exciting investigation into music. Just learn one thing.
