FROSTBITE, the Best Ice-Cream in Central FLORIDA!! - Limitless Paramotor Adventure
Frostbite is one of those cross country flights that I've always wished to be a part of, and finally after two years of flying, I got the chance. Frostbite in the town of Frostproof, is a legendary little burger and ice cream shop that sits on the other side of Crooked Lake from Lake Wales, FL.
The mission was to fly a few of our Limitless Paramotor frames, but with our school units having smaller then normal fuel tanks this may have not been the best option for a cross country motor. I made sure to fill my fuel tank to the very top and pre-flight the unit I was preparing to fly with, however when we got the trailer out to the field I was too busy filming and my motor was being set up for Gillian. With out making a fuss, I knew that another motor was somewhat ready as far as the swing arm positioning and so I would just fly that one.
Problem with being an very energetic film maker, is that when all the action started to leave the airport I forgot to check the fuel level before taking off.
The rest of the story is as they say, history.
