So it is halloween season so thought I would do at least one video of a spooky or horror theme, and why not explore one of my all time favourites. Resident Evil on the Sony Playstation.
Back in the 1990s this release was the first of it's kind on console, although we have had some 3D action horror in the past, never before had we the experience of such terror and onslaught surrounded by an ambiance straight out of the X Files.
It can be argued that the original Resident Evil was the beginning of the second great fascination in this horror sub genre, paving the way for games such as left for dead, Silent Hill, Dead Island and many more along with a slew of movies exploring the genre such as 28 days later, Dawn of the dead 2004, land of the dead, diary of the dead and many more.
