First known as Jayakarta (Sunda Kelapa town port) then Batavia, the capital of Dutch East Indies (Hindia Belanda) during Dutch colonization, later renamed Jakarta as it is known.
This is the first part of my travel documentation about Jakarta. The area consists part of Ancol beach, Monumen Nasional (Monas), Jalan Sudirman - Thamrin (weekly Car Free Day event), part of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, parts of Kota Tua (Old Town) and around it, some aerial view and time lapse.
The shot was taken with Nikon D5300, DJI Spark and iPhone 6s (for driving time lapse)
