Joint U.S./Niger military operations, in concert with the U.S. State Department, to provide anti-terrorism training and assistance in safeguarding national borders. During this mission, a small deployed team from the Army's 404th Civil Affairs unit attempted to help the local Tahoua community by renovating several primary school classrooms. Students and staff were extremely friendly and grateful for the assistance.
