River Flows In You - Yiruma
Yiruma is, in my opinion, one of the best contemporary composers. River Flows In You is probably his best-known song, and I was lucky enough to learn it back in January 2020 to play in a recital. Unfortunately, the recital took place that March and was canceled due to COVID. I practiced River Flows In You every day with the hopes of performing it again someday. Sadly, the pandemic still rages on. Now, almost a year after I was supposed to perform, I thought there would be no better audience than all of you in the YouTube community. River Flows In You is one of those songs that evokes different emotions in different people depending on their mental state and place in life. Whether the song gives you hope or sorrow, I believe through the power of music we can truly change for the better.
