Eurorack Breakbeat Hardcore feat Akai MPC 1000 and Modular (Varial - Locked Off)
"Locked Off" is a track dedicated to 90s rave culture and the people trying to keep this dream alive today. It features heavy vocal sampling all from the Vice documentary of the same name. To make this track I used the Akai MPC 1000 to chop the drum breaks, Ableton Live to playback vocals, and my modular system, all synced together for a dub style live performance. I then used Ableton to mix the multitrack recording and added one overdub with the Akemie's Takio.
Let me know if you want to see a breakdown of my rig and I'll make it happen!
