TUT1254 Integrating Identity with LDAP for SUSE CaaS Platform
This tutorial session was delivered at SUSECON in April 2019, in Nashville, TN.
Abstract: Security is a key topic in IT, and SUSE Container as a Service Platform has a built in openldap container for seamless integration with an LDAP backend. Additionally with the newer released updates an external LDAP source is now a possibility as well. With this service you can configure authentication and authorization services. This allows you to not only configure which users are able to use SUSE CaaS Platform, but at the same time you can limit the level of access for each user. In this session we will explain and demonstrate the LDAP configuration files as well as on the SUSE CaaS Platform side.
