Abstract: The System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) implements modern, secure, highly available authentication infrastructures. The most innovative features include offline authentication, the concurrent use of multiple remote authentication methods against multiple back-ends, and Linux server Active Directory participation approaching the compatibility of a domain member server.
This hands on session covers baseline Linux system and Active Directory preparation for the SSSD, daemon configuration, troubleshooting, tuning and optimisation techniques.
