🚕 How to Reach Delhi Airport Terminal 3
Metro - There is an Airport Line that connects Delhi IGI Airport Terminal 3 to New Delhi. It won't cost you more than 50 INR to take this metro line and you will be dropped off right outside Terminal 3.
Cab - If you have an early morning flight and are traveling from a little far, then a cab is a better option. For me, it is 30km and Uber charges 320 INR for the journey.
⌛ How Much Time It Takes for Check-in and Security Check
Since both domestic and international flights depart from this terminal, it takes a long time to pass the security check process.
Web check-in is compulsory as of now so you need to just drop your bags at the counter which doesn't take more than 15-30 minutes (maximum). However, the security check can easily take 30-45 minutes so arrive 3 hours before your departure time.
🍔 Facilities and Amenities Available
Toilets - There are multiple toilets available throughout the airport which are clean and spacious.
Drinking Water - You will also find several drinking water spots at Delhi Airport Terminal 3 where you can drink water or fill up your bottle.
Food Court - There is a food court also available here along with other eateries such as Starbucks, Haldirams, etc.
Shops - For shopping, there are a few options available here where you can buy gadgets, accessories, clothes, and more.
Waiting Lounge - Finally, there is a Lounge available on the first level of Departure where you can enter for free if you have complimentary lounge access on your debit/credit card.
Golf Cart Service - If you are getting late for your boarding and need to reach the gate quickly, then you can hire this service at the airport. They will charge you 500 INR for the service and drop you off at the boarding gate quickly.
I found Delhi Airport Terminal 3 Lounge to be really good with lots of seating options and food and drinks variety.
