7 Ancient Islands That Mysteriously Disappeared
In this video we will be covering some of the most mysterious ancient islands that have disappeared. Some of these islands might be more mythological, and some of these islands seem to have a lot of scientific evidence. We are counting down 7 Ancient Islands That Mysteriously Disappeared.
Some of the islands featured on our list disappeared more recently like the Phantom Island Bermeja or part of the Anson Archipelago, Ganges Island. However, some of these islands disappeared a long long time ago, before humans learned how to write thing down. One of these islands is the lost city of Atlantis. However, most people don't know about its Portugese 'sister' Island of Antilia. Both of those islands have similar stories, but are in different time periods.
We will also cover a north American Phantom island called Isle Phelipeaux. That had an influential role in the treaty of paris of 1783, and defined some of the boundaries between usa and canada.
The islands Los Jardines and Mayda island also are featured on our list.
