Please support my new channel and subscribe if you are interested in motorcycles and flying as HandyRadio will be a radio only channel. To purchase the UV8D battery eliminator please visit www.handyradio.co.uk
The Wouxun KG-UV8D battery eliminator is an important piece of kit if you use your radio in the car regularly. It takes power from your 12V supply socket and won't consume your Li-ion battery at all. Some of the Baofeng UV5R and UVB5 UVB6 models have their eliminators but there isn't a genuine factory version so the quality is inconsistent if you purchase yours on line. Hopefully you will find this eliminator useful and feel free to ask any question below. Consider it as a budget mobile radio solution.
You will also see my throat vibration mic in this video which I have used on a number of occasions as it cuts out background noises.
