Backpacking North Borneo - See The Amazing Wildlife and Nature
Summary of my backpacking trip to Sabah, North Borneo, with my girlfriend. We saw all of the animals in the wild and this is a place I really would recommend to visit, before its too late!
We started off at Mabul and when we arrived on the island I realized my passport was gone! So a few phonecalls and trouble and it was gone for good and had a long process later to be able to fly back hah. On mabul we were staying at Billabong diving, and had some awesome scuba days in both Mabul and Sipadan. In Sipadan we saw big schools of jackfish, alot of turtles and alot of other stuff aswell.
The next stop was Kinabatangan river for a tour, where we saw all the monkeys, like proboscis, orangutangs and alot more.
Third stop was Turtle Island close to Sandakan, where we saw turtles laying eggs and some newly hatched turtles run for their lived down to the sea.
Fourth and last stop on this trip was Kota Kinabalu, where we spent some time on the islands around and also did some touring inland. We went for example to Desa Daisy Farm, Mahua waterfall.
